Zilveren klontjestang, Wed. B. Gillis, 's Hertogenbosch, 1839 Titel:Default Title Silver bag hook made byAntique silver sugar tongs made by the widow of Bernardus Gillis from 's Hertogenbosch. After Bernardus Gillis's death, this mark was used by his widow for only one year, from 1833 to 1834. The usual mark is BG above a bell, but here it's topped with a v. Furthermore, the lump tongs are marked with the date letter E for 1839 (so the tongs were marked later), Minerva head and second grade hallmark. Weight: 33. 5 grams. Length: 13. 5 cm.
